Really, all our ponies are for sale to the right home and for the right price...but we are offering for your consideration the ponies on this page.
WE BREED FAMILY MEMBERS, NOT JUST PRETTY PONIES
We offer ponies with solid foundations and good starts. In order to do this we keep our operation small to allow us to handle and "play" with each pony daily. Emphasis is on good experiences with a focus on exposure to children and the mayhem they can provide. Our ponies are used to the loud craziness that they may encounter in life with children and they take it all with the grain of salt...all in a days work so to speak! In order to make "bomb proof" ponies they need to be started with patience and attention to exposing them to as much chaos as early and often as possible. This provides the pony a strong sane background with which to build your show pony. It also helps to have good sane breeding stock to start with. We proudly present the following ponies for your consideration. Any of these prospects will make you proud to present in the ring.
2009 Section B Red Roan filly 13.0h at 2yrs

Lovey is just that...a love. She is correct, big, sweet, willing and very people oriented. Lovey will make an excellent broodmare or a wonderful performance pony. Lovey is wearing tack, loads & travels well, stands to be clipped, ties and she is good for the farrier and veterinarian. We are asking $4000 with special consideration to a proven show home.

Above is a picture of Hot Wheels spring 2009.
HotWheels is a 2006 Sect. B chestnut gelding with minimal roaning. He has a narrow blaze, 2 front socks and 2 rear stockings with a blonde mane and tail. Hot Wheels is a true pocket pony, which means he wants to be in your pocket so to speak. He is the first to greet you when you go in the field...comes running up to see you and see what you are gonna want to do today hoping it might include him. He is unbelievably correct...perfect in every way. Never before have I had such a nice pony to work with. HotWheels is reluctantly offered for sale. He is so fancy in looks, color and movement it would be a waste for him not to be on the circuit winning for some lucky family. HotWheels at 3 years old is 12.3+ hands and will likely wind up 13.0hh. I've started him with the little kids riding him lead line and he loves them being on him. HotWheels clips, loads, lunges and is great for the farrier and vet. If you are looking for your next big show prospect at a reasonable price, give HotWheels some thought. We can hardly wait to see his name in the record books!!! We are asking $3,500 now, but price will increase with training and more showing. Well, his price is going up...he is ponying wonderfully off another pony while carrying a rider and I have started getting on him. This pony is an absolute DREAM! I would feel comfortable putting anybody on him...right now...he is that quiet. Nothing phases him! He will eventually make a wonderful first pony that will take your child to the pony finals...he IS that good! Now asking $4,000 as of Aug. 2009.
Congratulations to Gigi and Julie Ristaino of Boerne Texas on the purchase of this fine pony. May Gigi have many years of fun and success with Hot Wheels.

The picture above, taken from the RosMel Pony Farm website, are of RosMel's Scarlet Emperor, HotWheels' sire. HotWheels takes after his daddy...too bad I can't run fast enough to really show off his movement.

The above picture has the wrong date...picture was actually taken May 12, 2009...camera batteries went dead and I forgot to change the date...silly me.
Arnie is a 2002 grey gelding standing a large 13hh with four whites and a lovely white face with a large pop eye. A very typey Welsh, Arnie won Reserve Year End Champion honors as a yearling with minimal showing with the New England Welsh Pony Association. Arnie is currently working as a lesson and camp pony and works well for the younger students learning to walk and trot yet gives the more advanced students a challenge. He loves to jump and has a lovely bascule with his knees up by his chin. We are using Arnie for beginner lessons currently and he's a gem. When I put someone more advanced on him he is bold over fences and is very responsive. Arnie has been to numerous local shows over the past two years while up in Illinois and was always in the ribbons. He is still eligible green. Recently in 2009 we have been using him to help break the other ponies...by ponying them off of him...he is a doll, neck reins and remains quiet while on duty! What an awesome pony. A lovely hunter, open jumper, pony club or eventing prospect, we are currently asking $5,500 for this wonderful guy. He is quite the character, loves to drink soda and eat peppermints! With a bit of a tune up he can easily qualify for the pony finals. Arnie is easy to jump and finds his own "spots." A steal at this price really. SOLD to Bev Behrends in Blanco Texas. May you and your grandkids have a blast with this very talented pony!
The rider above is 5'4"...so you can see Arnie is large enough for the bigger riders yet small enough to not intimidate the littles. A great pony to have in your barn for lessons or on the farm leases.
Arnie's sire, Rollingwood's Pick My Way who is pictured below, is an exceptional mover with tons of bone and passed it on to our Arnie. I just love Pick and just about cried the day I found out he was gelded...Loafer's Lodge retains many of his daughters and now Pick is living large as a pony hunter. Personally I think Arnie is just about the spitting image of Pick who is pictured below...photos from Loafer's Lodge. many of Pick's get are winning on the line and in the hunter ring on the east coast. Arnie is from Pick's first crop.
